2/19/2019 Cowgirl Golf Wraps Up Play At All-State Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate

NEW ORLEANS — The Oklahoma State women's golf team finished in a tie for 13th at the All-State Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Golf Championship at English Turn Golf & Country Club.
Freshman Lianna Bailey led the Cowgirls in the final round with a 3-over 75 and finished the event tied for 22nd place.
Sara Camarena tied for 44th place and carded 8-over 80. Han-Hsuan Yu wasn't far behind at 10-over 82 and tied for 50th place. Michelle Forsland tied for 68th place and senior Chih-Min Chen finished in 73rd place.
All together, the Cowgirls finished 24-over 312 for the third round to tie Arizona State for 13th place. The Cowgirls combined for 49-over 913 overall for the tournament.
No. 3 Texas won the All-State Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate with a 12-over 876 finish, while Houston's Leonie Harm claimed the individual title at even par 216.
The Cowgirls will head to Hilton Head, South Carolina in two weeks to compete in the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate.
